After you have submitted your application to CardConnect, you will be contacted directly via telephone with your application's status.
Reasons Applications might be Declined
There are a couple of situations where an application might be declined. All declined applications will be communicated via email and telephone and will include reasoning behind decline.
- Credit check failing
- Legal/ owner/ banking information not verifying
- Abnormal processing thresholds for that vertical
Approved Application - Next Steps
After an application has been approved, you will receive the following communication:
- An enrollment email with a message of the application approval
- Contact (email/telephone) from a CardConnect Activation Specialist to set aside time to go through setup
Activation of Account
After an application has been accepted, you will be contacted by a CardConnect Activation specialist via telephone.
CardConnect will provide the following to complete their setup
- Installation Guide
- Option to order Point of Sale devices for actual in-field/office card swiping
- Access to CardPointe
If you're located in the US, you can also accept ACH payments! If you're interested in turning on ACH payments for your customers please follow these steps:
- Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
- In the email include you're part of the LMN partnership, your MID (Merchant ID number) and that you would like to add ACH to your account.
