19.10 Product Release - LMN Time

LMN Time

The crew at LMN is excited to introduce our biggest product release ever, set to go LIVE on October 28th, 2019! LMN 19.10 is the result of thousands of discussions with the LMN community over the past several years. You’ll notice improvements on every screen - please see some of our updates below!

  • IMPROVEMENT!  One login, one system
    • If you have access to Estimates and Time, you can now easily switch between LMN Estimate and LMN Time with the click of a tab - no additional logins required!
  • IMPROVEMENT!  Access to the resources you need
    • Our new LMN Help icon will allow you to access page-specific resources as well as our world famous chat service!
  • IMPROVEMENT!  New look and feel
    • The same great screens you love, with a new look and feel!
      • Updated icons and screen colors

  • IMPROVEMENT!  Faster load times
    • We've changed the way your data loads for a faster experience on Job and Timesheet screens.

  • NEW FEATURE!  Interface Options
    • Any screen that has a list of items on it (Timesheet List, Jobs List, Staff List, Invoice List, Payroll Alerts, etc) will have our new Interface Options control. This will allow you to:
      • Collapse your left-side menu
      • Change your search results from 10 to 100
      • Show or hide Page Numbers from the top of your lists

  • IMPROVEMENT!  Relocated action buttons
    • Any screen which used to have a black task bar now has those actions in a green button instead.
      • Anytime you see a button with a white down arrow, you will find actions for that page in there.
      • This makes for cleaner, easier to navigate screens with less buttons.

  • IMPROVEMENT!  Settings cog
    • All of your settings (Timetracking, Jobs, Schedule and Invoice) can now be found in one spot!
      • Checkout the cog in the top-right corner of your screen to access your settings.

  • NEW FEATURE!  Timesheet List | Tracked Staff
    • You can now view all tracked staff on a timesheet from the Timesheet List!
      • This will allow you to search for a crew member at-a-glance.
  • IMPROVEMENT!  Timesheets | Faster punch ins
    • We've eliminated steps in the punch in and out processes on the Time app and the web, reducing the punch in time by half!
      • Next task process will now have you punching out of Job 1 before you punch in to Job 2, making the process less confusing to new users.
  • NEW FEATURE!  Scheduled Services
    • Visit types are a thing of the past! You will now be scheduling services directly. When your crew punches out, they will mark their service as complete to:
      • Update the job for invoicing
      • Apply a checkmark to the calendar for that scheduled work
    • Have two crews going onsite for separate services? No problem. Services will change color if they were scheduled and completed already for that date! See our LMN Time App training for more information HERE.
  • NEW FEATURE!  Timesheets | Daily Dashboard icons
    • Icons will now indicate if timesheets have notes and photos, giving you some timesheet information before you click for more details.

  • IMPROVEMENT!  Timesheets | Payroll Alerts
    • Two screens combined into one! LMN's old Timesheet Warnings and Payroll Warnings can now be found together in the Payroll Alerts tab.
  • NEW FEATURE!  Timesheets | Staff Alerts
    • Click Ignore missing warnings to filter out staff who are not present on your selected timesheet date.
  • NEW FEATURE!  Timesheets | Approve Time Warnings
    • LMN's AI will now scan your timesheets as you review to display any timesheet or payroll warnings!
    • Being alerted to potential timesheet issues as you approve will save you time and clicks.  Click on a warning to be redirected to the timesheet(s) in question.

  • NEW FEATURE!  Timesheets | Approve Time Review
    • The Approve Time screen is now bigger and better!  Scan your timesheets by clicking on the timesheet bar, displaying the following information right in your screen - no more navigating from page to page to review your timesheets!
      • Employee summary
      • Punch in and out times
      • Total hours for payroll
      • Lunch warnings
      • Edit warnings - click to review!
      • Job and task breakdown
      • Note icon - click to review!
  • NEW FEATURE!  Live Tracking Tab
    • All of the tracking you need, now in one tab!
    • Quickly and easily navigate between job and staff tracking from the Live Tracking tab.
  • IMPROVEMENT!  Live Tracking | Punch In review
    • Providing you with more information on the same great screen, the Live Map will now show you the last five punch ins on a property automatically.
  • NEW FEATURE!  Live Tracking | Photo review
    • The job screen will now show you your last five punch ins and any timesheet photos.
    • View photos and jobsite data live in one screen.

  • NEW FEATURE!  Live Tracking | Job History Punch Out times
    • Job History will now display punch in and out times.
  • IMPROVEMENT!  Live Tracking | Job History color coding
    • Job History is now color coded by your selected intervals (example: 6 hours, 12 hours, 24 hours).
    • Set the intervals that make sense to your company by clicking the set intervals screen.
    • Change the intervals for Green and Snow seasons, making your reporting more relevant for the season!
  • NEW FEATURE!  Live Tracking | Where Are They color coding
    • Where Are They will now show a green square if your staff are on an in progress timesheet at the time of the report.
  • NEW FEATURE!  Live Tracking | Where Are They staff groups
    • Filter by staff group to grab a specific department for quick reporting.
  • IMPROVEMENT!  Live Tracking | Live Map screen
    • This report will show you color coded pins based on whether your crews punched in onsite or offsite.  Click the pin to see the difference in their location.
  • NEW FEATURE!  Calendar | Day view
    • Calendar will now display three filter options:
      • Month
      • Week
      • Day - New!

  • NEW FEATURE!  Wait List | Search
    • Available on the List View and Map View, you can now search for a specific job to promote to schedule by Job Name and Job ID.

  • NEW FEATURE!  Bulk Schedule | Wait List on map
    • When you go to schedule, you will now see colored pins for work which is on the Wait List as well as Scheduled work.

  • NEW FEATURE!  Schedule Templates
    • One of the biggest new features of the 19.10 Product Release, Schedule templates will allow you to apply multiple services to the wait list and schedule at the same time!

  • NEW FEATURE!  Job List | Remembered filters
    • Navigate off of your screen without losing your filtered results.  LMN will now remember your search options for the Job List screen!

  • NEW FEATURE!  Job List | Filter for No Job Group
    • From the Job List screen, you can now filter jobs to see which jobs have not been assigned to a group. 

  • IMPROVEMENT!  Job List | Status drop down
    • Without having to navigate off of the Job List page, you can quickly flip between Active, Inactive or All jobs using the Status drop down. 

  • NEW FEATURE!  Job List | Assign to Job Group
    • From the Update Jobs button, add multiple jobs to a job group.
  • NEW FEATURE!  Job List | Set Job Type
    • From the Update Jobs button, adjust Job Types for multiple jobs.
  • NEW FEATURE!  Job List | Add Materials
    • From the Add to Jobs button, add a material to multiple jobs.
  • NEW FEATURE!  Job List | Created date
    • Quickly filter by created date to see your most recent jobs.
  • IMPROVEMENT!  Job | Link to CRM, Job on Map
    • In an effort to reduce buttons on your screen, your Customer and Job Address are now click-able under the Customer/CRM Information section.
      • Customer: Will take you to that customer in the CRM
      • Job Address: Will take you to google maps for that Lat/Long

    • When you open a job, a counter will now display numbers for the following:
      • Job Files
      • Groups
      • Tasks
      • Services
      • Materials
      • Hourly Rates
      • Scheduled Visits
      • Invoices

  • NEW FEATURE!  Job | Job Scoreboard
    • The Job Scoreboard will give you a quick view on how your job is progressing.

  • NEW FEATURE!  Job | History & Photos
    • The History & Photos tab will provide real-time reporting on all timesheet items: Tasks, In/Out times, Notes, Services, Materials, Photos.
    • Use the date filter to customize your view!

  • NEW FEATURE!  Job | Invoice Activation Message
    • As you add services and materials to jobs, an Invoice Activation message will appear to remind you to setup invoicing.  This message will change once invoicing has been turned on for the job!

  • NEW FEATURE!  Job | Invoice Activation and Invoice Schedule
    • Invoice Activation has been split from Invoice Schedule, making it easier for users who bill for per occurrence services.
    • If you're setting up an Invoice Schedule, it will become available once you activate invoicing!

  • NEW FEATURE!  Staff | Hide Jobs | Show All/Hide All
    • Showing only one group of jobs has never been so easy! Select your Job and click Show All to move those jobs to your visible list! Repeat as necessary.

  • NEW FEATURE!  Staff | Hide Staff | Show All/Hide All
    • Same functions for hiding staff! Grab a staff group and click Show All to quickly show your foreman one group of employees.
  • IMPROVEMENT!  Staff List | Status drop down
    • Without having to navigate off of the Staff List page, you can quickly flip between Active, Inactive or All staff using the Status drop down. 

  • NEW FEATURE!  Invoice | Remembered filters
    • Navigate off of your screen without losing your filtered results.  LMN will now remember your search options for the following pages:
      • Generate
      • Invoice Runs
      • Invoice List

  • IMPROVEMENT!  Invoice | Closed check mark
    • The Closed check mark will allow you to Sort invoices by whether or not they have been closed.

  • NEW FEATURE! Reports | Payroll | Show Inactive Button
    • Click this button to hide inactive employees from your filters and search results!
  • IMPROVEMENT! Reports | Payroll | Last Name, First Name
    • The following reports have been updated to sort employees by Last Name, First Name:
      • Payroll Summary - Daily Hours
      • Employee Hours - By Job
      • Attendance Report
      • Employee Hours (Job Summary)
  • NEW FEATURE! Reports | Jobs | Show Inactive Button
    • Click this button to hide inactive jobs from your filters and search results!

  • NEW FEATURE! Reports | Job History - Services (Excel Format)
    • This report shows services and materials for timesheet tasks, organized by date.
  • NEW FEATURE! Reports | Job History - Time (Excel Format)
    • This report shows time recorded for timesheet tasks, organized by date.
