Referral Source - How do I track my leads/clients by referral source?

The referral source field is used to track where your leads came from.  This way, you can analyze which sources of marketing are generating the most leads and sales.

LMN comes with some sample referral sources, but you're also free to setup your own.  To setup your list of referral sources:

  1. Click the CRM menu
  2. Click the Referral Sources sub menu
  3. Click the +New button to add a new referral source
  4. Enter the name/description of your referral source, then click OK to save

 

 

Adding a referral source to a single lead/client

  1. Make sure you've setup your referral sources according to the instructions above.
  2. Open the lead/client screen 
  3. Choose the Referral Source from the dropdown list
  4. Save your client/lead

 

 

Adding a referral source to a list of leads/clients

  1. Make sure you've setup your referral sources according to the instructions above.
  2. Click the CRM | Clients + Leads menu
  3. When you're looking at your list of clients/leads, use the checkbox on the left side to select all the clients/leads you want to add the referral source to
  4. Click the Update Leads button
  5. Choose the option to Set Referral Source
  6. Choose the Referral Source you wish to apply to all selected clients/leads
  7. Click OK to set all selected client/leads to the selected referral souce
