My work area notes are not showing up on my proposals, or on my job planners.

If you find that your work area notes are not showing up on your proposals and/or job planners, it's likely that you just have entered them in the wrong place.

Work area notes are actually just on-screen notes for the estimator.  They don't show up on estimates.

When you first create a Work Area, you have the option to copy the original notes to your Client Notes but after that, they take on a life of their own.

 

If you want to create or edit client notes that will show up on your proposals:

  1. click the Action button on the left side of the work area
  2. click Edit Client Notes

 

Any notes you enter on that screen will carry over to all the client proposal reports.  

If you want to edit or create notes for your crews:

  1. click the Action button on the left side of the work area
  2. click Edit Crew Notes
